How to get a Harvard Medical School application?
I’m no where near ready to apply but I would love to see what an application looks like. I tried googling it but apparently I’m a terrible googler because I couldn’t find anything. Does anybody know where to get one or how to get one mailed to you?
J is kinda right. AMCAS is the primary application to all medical schools. If you wanted to sign up for it right now you could, but its nothing spectacular. Just biographical info, your grades/transcripts, your MCAT score, a list for up to 15 activities and awards, a list to indicate your letters of recommendation, and then a spot for you to write your personal statement. No prompt, just gives you a word limit.
Harvard DOES have a secondary application that they will send you after applying through AMCAS. However, it is one of the less interesting ones. No essays, just some more biographical information (and a way to charge you a filing fee!).
There isn’t an application form. Harvard only accepts applications through AMCAS, which is the American Medical College Application Service. Most medical schools use AMCAS (except Texas).
