Harvard tuition used to cost 25% of an average worker’s wage. Doctors and medicine used to be a lot cheaper before medicare as well.
What’s the common factor these two share? If milk rose at the same rate as education, we’d be paying like .00 for a gallon of milk.
In the old days (like 1950) Harvard would cost you ,000 a year in today’s dollars.
i want to go to harvard university. When i get older at what grade does harvard look back for an application for med school. Right now im in 6th grade and my dream is to get to harvard for med school, and i get A+ in every report card its my absolute dream. But sometimes i just want to have a little bit more fun than dedicate my life 24/7 to school so in a couple words i kinda want to slack off. of course i will still be trying me best just need a break. Until i get to the grade where it does really matter for an application to harvard im pretty good at everything math, science, history i kinda struggle like in grammar but i make it through. im really positive i want to be a doctor i’ve been saying that since i was 4 yrs old and blood doesn’t sick me out like this kid once fell down once and everyone was sicked out but i touched it anyways its just blood and i like to help people so i want to be a pediatrician doc one day so at what grade does it matter for an application for harvard university

FYI
Harvard UniversityHarvard University announced over the weekend that from now on
undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, Harvard’s president Lawrence H. Summers said, ‘When only 10 percent of the students in Elite higher education come from families in lower half of the income distribution, we are not doing enough. We are not doing enough in bringing elite higher education to the lower half of the income distribution.’
If you know of a family earning less than ,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-in come families can go to Harvard for free…no tuition and no student loans!

I am a high school counselor and I thought this was great for students who are gifted but are plagued by poverty. ((PASS THE WORD)))
